To celebrate Women's Month, with spring and its season of new beginnings just around the corner, Aevitas Fertility Clinic is launching a Egg Freezing Initiative from August 2026.
Women who attend an egg freezing consultation between 1 August and 30 September 2026 and pay for their egg freezing treatment by 31 October 2026 will receive a R5 600 treatment credit towards their egg freezing cycle, provided the treatment is completed by 31 December 2026.
The treatment credit is equivalent to:
- One initial egg freezing consultation
- Two stimulation monitoring ultrasound scans performed by Aevitas Fertility Clinic
This initiative is designed to encourage women to learn more about their fertility preservation options and take the first step on their fertility preservation journey—without feeling pressured to make an immediate treatment decision.
What Does the Egg Freezing Process Involve?
The egg freezing journey typically includes several stages:
1. Fertility Consultation
You will meet with an Aevitas fertility specialist who will review your medical history, discuss your goals, and explain the treatment process.
2. Fertility Assessment
Testing may include hormone evaluations and ultrasound examinations to assess ovarian reserve and help guide treatment planning.
3. Ovarian Stimulation
Daily hormone injections are used to encourage multiple eggs to mature during a treatment cycle.
4. Monitoring
Regular ultrasound scans and hormone blood tests allow the fertility team to monitor follicle development and optimise the timing of egg retrieval.
5. Egg Retrieval
Once the eggs are ready, they are collected during a short procedure performed under sedation.
6. Cryopreservation
The eggs are frozen using advanced vitrification technology and safely stored for future use.

Initiative Terms and Conditions:
- Egg Freezing Initiative applies to patients who attend and pay for an egg freezing consultation between 1 August 2026 and 30 September 2026.
- To qualify for the initiative, the patient must pay for an egg freezing treatment cycle on or before 31 October 2026.
- Eligible patients will receive a treatment credit of R 5 600 equal to:
One (1) initial egg freezing consultation; and
two (2) stimulation monitoring scans performed by Aevitas Fertility Clinic.
- The credit will be applied to the patient's egg freezing treatment fee and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The egg freezing treatment cycle (egg retrieval procedure) must be completed on or before 31 December 2026.
- The initiative applies only to services provided by Aevitas Fertility Clinic and excludes medication, pathology and laboratory testing, courier fees, and any third-party services.
- Consultation and scan fees remain payable at the time the services are rendered, in accordance with Aevitas Fertility Clinic's standard payment policies.
- The credit will only be applied once the patient has paid for an eligible egg freezing treatment cycle within the specified promotional period.
- The initiative is non-transferable and may not be applied to another patient, treatment type, or future promotional campaign.
- The initiative may not be combined with any other discount, promotion, voucher, referral program, or special offer.
- If the patient does not proceed with and pay for an egg freezing treatment cycle by 31 October 2026, or does not complete treatment by 31 December 2026, no credit will be applied. Aevitas Fertility Clinic may consider exceptions to these terms and conditions on a case-by-case basis where circumstances warrant such consideration.
