In the past, egg donation worked best with fresh eggs. However, due to the latest technological advances, Aevitas can now successfully freeze donor eggs. This allows the donor egg recipient to choose between ‘adopting’ fresh- or frozen eggs. Furthermore, freezing donor eggs, allows us to decrease costs and increase convenience, for our patients.
What are the benefits of using frozen donor eggs through Aevitas?
Time savingCertain treatment steps are eliminated from the recipient’s treatment process, as the egg donor has already donated her eggs. Therefore the eggs are available immediately.

Less risk of loosing the selected egg donorIf the recipient chooses to make use of fresh donor eggs, it could happen that the selected donor is unable to donate at the required time (due to personal reasons).
Cost savingAn added benefit of making use of frozen eggs, is that recipients can share the eggs received from one donor.
